The EU-DARE project aims to develop a highly relevant suite of education resources that address the needs of smallholders in European rural areas, specifically to:

1. Explain what agroecology is and what role it plays in combating climate change, increasing resilience, strengthening communities and increasing land productivity;
2. Illustrate the value of using smallholder farmers as a container for improvements in agricultural performance and as a particular means of enabling new, more appropriate sustainable processes & practices
3. Motivate the objectives with practical guidance on how to introduce ‘Sustainable and regenerative farming systems’ education into organisations.

Another objective that EU-DARE wants to achieve is to increase the level of lifelong learning among farmers.
